Brenda Yvonne Jackson departed this life May 8, 2017. She was born March 13, 1963 in Plainfield, NJ, the first child of Yvonne Muwwakkil and Joseph Lee.

Brenda graduated from Plainfield High School in 1980. She would be remembered as "Quack" in the 5th Ave. Protegé Social Club in Plainfield. After graduating, Brenda met and married the love of her life Theophlius Jackson on August 24, 1985.

Brenda affectionately known as "Beeda", "B", Quack and Aunt Bendy. She was known to be the life of any party. Either she will have you laughing or crying "Literally". If she wasn't working hard taking care of her family, you could find her with her crossword puzzle, cooking or cleaning. Brenda meant so much to so many people in so many ways.

The Jacksons: Thee, Tia and Jimmy were Brenda's world! The bond between Brenda and her amazing husband Thee was a sacred bond that only they could understand. The best example of a Mother's and Daughter's bond was that of Tia and Brenda. James "Jimmy" had a deep friendship with his mom from a baby all the way to adulthood. The love Brenda showered Tia and James with spilled over onto her beautiful grandchildren Jahnya and Jordin.

Mom: For her mother Yvonne she was the person who would step up to the plate for any situation. She fully embraced the role and responsibility of being the oldest daughter.

Sisters and Brothers: Brenda always protected, cared for and provided for her siblings as a second mother. She mastered all forms of Love, Discipline, Generosity, Friendship, Laughter and so much more. Brenda's sisters and brothers were rich to have her as a big sister. All her nieces, and nephews inherited the love that she shared with her siblings.

Lastly, to show you the power of Brenda's love and generosity, upon her passing she decided to donate her organs. The result of this unselfish act resulted in saving the lives of three people.
STILL THE LEGACY OF BRENDA PREVAILS AND LIVES ON!!!

Brenda was predeceased by her beloved daughter Tia Renee Jackson, her brother James D. Lee and her sister Marie Richardson.

She is mourned by her husband Theophlius L. Jackson; son James L. Jackson (Nydiah); grandchildren Jahnya and Jordin Jackson and Yhamiya; her parents Yvonne Muwwakkil (Muhsin) and Joseph Lee (Mary); six sisters Karen, Arlene and Niki Brooks and Traci Lee, Crystal Walker and Toi Collins; four brothers Carl Lee, Tony Walker, Dennis and Michael Brooks; three sisters in law Betty Bennett, Francis Register (Lindsey) and Minerva Bowes (Michael); two brothers in law Kenneth Jackson and Charlie McWhite (Karen); a goddaughter Kamya Brooks and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and living friends.
